The Business Development Manager role
The Mulberry Bush is currently experiencing a period of growth and we have big plans to expand our future reach nationally and internationally, to provide services to more organisations that work with children and families affected by childhood trauma.
To support our expansion plans we have created a new role, that of Business Development Manager. The aim of this role is to identify and realise opportunities to grow our business. The successful candidate must be able to identify new service opportunities, as well as build and maintain relationships with new and existing organisations, focusing on: local education authorities, child social services, Ministry of Justice, Department of Education, Department of Health & Social Care, universities and research institutions, other child / education focused charitable organisations, overseas government agencies, and charities, etc.
The role will work closely with our Charity Leadership Group, and will be an active member of The Mulberry Bush Service Development Project Group who’s mission is to gather market intelligence, and develop and implement new and effective services.
As the Business Development Manager, you will be the face of The Mulberry Bush and therefore is critical that you truly believe in, and can demonstrate our core therapeutic Values, Principles, Vision and Mission.
This role will be based from our head office in Oxfordshire, but the successful candidate must be willing to travel regularly nationally and on occasions internationally to meet with new and existing organisations and promote The Mulberry Bush where necessary.
