Position Overview

Title: Communications Officer
Location: Milton Keynes/Hybrid – Minimum one day per week in Milton Keynes office
Hours: Full-time – 36.5 hours per week
Contract: Up to 12 Months Fixed Term
Salary: Starting From £30,874 (Depending on experience)

About the Role

As a Communications Officer at World Vision, you’ll be at the forefront of our Strategic Partnerships Department, spearheading the creation of high-quality resources to deepen engagement with our key audiences and donors. This dynamic role requires a blend of creativity, project management prowess, and a passion for storytelling.

Responsibilities

Craft Compelling Content
Generate engaging online and offline content that showcases World Vision’s impactful work.

Develop Social Media Strategy
Lead the development and execution of our Social Media strategy, with a focus on platforms like LinkedIn.

Design Captivating Collateral
Create visually appealing collateral to inform and engage donors and stakeholders.

Enhance Website Experience
Oversee website content creation and implement strategies to improve user experience.

Produce Inspiring Video Content
Create compelling video content tailored to our diverse audiences, inspiring action and engagement.

Ensure Timely Delivery
Manage project timelines effectively, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.

About You

Strong Communicator
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must, along with a flair for storytelling.

Creative Thinker
Bring fresh ideas to the table and possess the ability to see projects through from concept to completion.

Detail-Oriented
Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Project Management Skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under pressure.
